Ang KaSaMa, Inc. is an acronym known as Ang Katipunan ng mga Samahang Maharlika, Inc., a national confederation of regional socio-economic self-reliant people’s organizations, NGOs, cooperatives, and foundations that can be traced way back in 1982. A non-stock, non-profit organization legally registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 19, 2001.

THE MEANING OF THE LOGO
The sun signifies advancement and development. The nine rays of the sun refer to the nine socio-economic movements in Maharlika. The Alibata letter, symbol for Katipunan (society), in the middle of the sun signifies unity of the Maharlikan people.
