The AKMA (Alyansa ng mga Kabataan sa Maharlika) or the Alliance of the Maharlikan Youth held its 2nd AKMA General Assembly. It's theme entitled "Maharlikan Youth: The Hope of Maharlika", a four days event that started from October 29 to November 1, 2010 held at Maharlika Paradise, Sitio Kayrupa, San Rafael, Rodriguez (Montalban), Rizal.
The AKMA served as the Ang KaSaMa's (Ang Katipunan ng mga Samahang Maharlika also known as Maharlika Samaj Movement) national umbrella of this youth organization since November 2007 on its 1st AKMA General Assembly held at the same venue. The program was sponsored by Brighten Foundation New Zealand, with out three facilitators; headed by Giuseppe "Jyotirmaya" Martegani (an Italian brother based in New Zealand) and his members which helped him facilitates are Christophe "Krsna Deva" Govache (from France now based in Davao City) and Tonya "Tapasii" Wyatt (from Auckland, Australia). There are other groups which supported this program and these are MAWF (Maharlika Artists and Writers Federation) - the Maharlika Samaj's Arts wing, the PETAS - TSK (Philippine Educational Theater and Arts Society - Tanghalang Sining Kayumanggi) - from San Pedro, Laguna, MSSV (Maharlika Social Service Volunteer) - from Marikina, Roces and Commonwealth chapters, SAMARLIKA (Sports, Adventure, Music and Arts for Maharlika) - from Manila and TRRG (Technical Rescue Rigging Group) - based from Taguig City. There are also youth group participants who attended the program; from Montalban, Rizal - the KYO (Kayrupa Youth Organization) and the MYSC (Maharlika Youth Spiritualist Club) from Laur, Nueva Ecija and they two representatives for the assembly.
The 2nd AKMA General Assembly also known as "Maharlika Youth Camp 2010" attended by 90 Youth Participants (31 girls and 59 Boys) and 21 people from in-charges, volunteers, guests, senior members and cadres. A total of 121 persons.
Dada Devapriyananda Avt also known as Deo Palma - Maharlika Samaj National Coordinator, introduces the organization about the Ang KaSaMa's mission and vision and had a brief lecture about its information. Dada Ashiishananda Avt. gave lectures and spiritual talks during the program. It is also not complete without Brother Vishvamitra Reyes from TRRG, on his lecture about survival first aid, security and safety and Brother Jyotirmaya and company for inspiring activities of the program. While Kashinath Real, AKMA national president and a member - actor of PETAS - TSK, introduces and gave a brief inspirational talk about the AKMA and its goal. Also, Abhimanyu and company cooked the nice and delicious vegetarian food which everybody enjoyed, appreciated and inspired to become a vegetarian.
On the following days the committees decided that the youths must form their own team groups and these different groups are Team Mahar, Team Phoenix, Team Mawa, Team Gata and Team Del. All of the participants shuffled through numbering one to five, from their respective places and they come up with these groups. During the third day of the program event these 5 teams had undergone the 8 challenging games which build-up the teams' unity, strategy, participation, concentration, coordination, teamwork and sportsmanship. The games have 8 stations followed by the persons who facilitate the respective games these are: 1st is Popcorn by Angel and Joy Alvaran, 2nd is Calculator by PETAS members (Pring, Orlie and MC), 3rd is Spiderman (which is the most challenging) by Dada Ashiishananda and Sus'mita, 4th is balloon by margii couple from Las Pinas (Mahendra and Madhavii), 5th is Limbo by Krsna Deva and Mahavishva of PETAS, 6th is Quickshot by Cetana and Yham Alvaran, 7th is Sponge by Ranadhiir and the last but not the least and challenging to some is the 8th station Fear factor (which is River crossing and Rappeling) by Vishvamitra and company from TRRG. The games where monitored by Kashinath and Muktishvar. The teams enjoyed so much and developed camaraderie on each other making new friends. On the cultural night there was a presentation from MSSV Marikina and Commonwealth chapters and KYO from Montalban, Rizal and a great spectacular performance presentation from PETAS - TSK from San Pedro, Laguna in which they had presented some excerpt of their play "Kuro-Kuro" by their director Gian Carlo "Gurudeva" de Jesus for presentation this 7th Maharlika Sunrise Festival in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte on November 24 to 28, 2010. Many of the people who watched the play was in awe stunned especially the foreigners who watch the play. They said "that even though we don't understand the Language (because the play is in Tagalog), we can feel what's the emotion and what they want to convey". The play was revolutionary said by Dada Deva it had impact in the hearts of the audience. After that Brother Krsna Dev presented a power point of different photographs of the Maharlika Youth Camp moments.
On the last day before the committee announce the winning team, there was a sharing about lesson from all members of the team which presented on the last talk. After that, there was a last game called "Bird, Nest and Storm" and followed by the introduction of all members and participants, then followed by the performance from Abhimanyu (the great chef) and Company (the Iloilo Artisits) from their kitchen tasks and the last Giving Thanks, Namaskar and singing of Baba Nam Kevalam in a circle. On the last part they also announced the over all winning team, the Team Phoenix followed by Team Gata and other special awards for the best participants and also there is a group picture of all. The Program was ended smoothly and very inspiring to all participants and volunteers and many of them went to initiation which is inspiring to all Maharlikan Margiis.
